Putsa speglarna med milt diskmedel och mycket vatten, så att man sköljer bort dammet och inte repar ytan. Torka helst av ytan med sämskinn eller med mycket mjuk och väl sliten bomullstrasa. Använd ej syntetmaterial, då plast mot plast kan orsaka repor. Gnid ej förmycket, spegeln blir då statiskt laddad och drar åt sig mer damm.
